College Wi-Fi


Below are the instructions on how to connect your device to the college Wi-Fi. If you have any trouble with this or any other IT issues, feel free to visit the IT Officers at the top of Orange hubs (H1.32) who will be happy to help you.

Please note: the College cannot provide support with personal devices beyond School Network Account and WiFi issues (school issued Chomebooks are supported).


iOS Devices

  1. Open the device’s Wi-Fi settings.
  2. Select Wi-Fi
  3. Tap on ONE
  4. Use your student email (e.g. ***@schoolsnet.act.edu.au) and password to connect to the network
  5. Press Join
  6. When prompted, tap Trust

If you follow the steps and you still can’t connect, Forget the network and try again.


Android devices

  1. Swipe down to your settings panel
  2. Open the device’s Wi-Fi settings
  3. Tap on ONE
  4. Use your student email (e.g. ***@schoolsnet.act.edu.au) and password to connect to the network
  5. Tap on Select Certificate and choose Use System Certificate
  6. Enter domain one.act.gov.au
  7. Press Connect

If you follow the steps and you still can’t connect, Forget the network and try again.


Windows Devices

  1. Click on the Wi-Fi icon on your title bar and select the ONE network
  2. Tap Network
  3. From the Networks menu, select the ONE network.
  4. Fill out the settings as below:
    * EAP Method: PEAP
    * Authentication: MSCHAPV2 (*may have to select Advanced Options to see this)
    * Certificate/Select: “Don’t validate”
  5. Use your student email (e.g. ***@schoolsnet.act.edu.au) and password, and tap OK

Your device has now been set up. Test the connection is working by launching your web browser or one of your Internet-connected applications.

If you follow the steps and you still can’t connect, Forget the network and try again.


Apple Computers

  1. Click on the Wi-Fi icon on your title bar and select the ONE network
  2. Use your student email (e.g. ***@schoolsnet.act.edu.au) and password. Make sure Remember this network is checked, and click the Join button
  3. If you have not connected to the ONE wireless network before, you will be asked to Trust the network by tapping Trust

Your device has now been set up. Test the connection is working by launching your web browser or one of your Internet-connected applications.
